The Eighth Continent Marathon and Half Marathon is in the Auckland Domain on Sunday, 17 January 2021.
The event uses a 5km loop starting and finishing at the main grandstand and following a course similar to the 10K in the Auckland Domain course used by The Auckland YMCA Marathon Club.
For 2021, due to Covid 19 the Triple 8 Challenge of 8 marathons in 8 days on 8 continents will not be held. The field will be limited to competitors living in New Zealand. We've been advised that 2022 will be a big year for our overseas competitors, Covid 19 permitting.
